This is just one of the questions my clients ask me and of course it changes from persons to person. The recommendation is at least 6 sessions (one session a week) before we start to cut them down. Generally, I will see each client for the six sessions and depending on how they are getting on, we will either start reducing them to every other week and then once a month (titter them out) or we may do a few more weekly ones and then start tittering them out, depending on how they are doing.Usually, you will start to see a difference before the six weeks but you might just need a few more sessions to cement it all. It is unusual for me to see a client for more than 12 sessions. This is a lot less than some therapies out there.
